Tylane Barnes is a Texas-certified special education teacher who specializes in K-12 education. She holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University and a Texas Principal Certification. Ms. Barnes has dedicated her career to early childhood and elementary education, with a profound commitment to helping students reach their full potential.
Professional Experience
With over 16 years in public education, Ms. Barnes has held various roles, including special education paraprofessional, special education teacher, varsity volleyball and track coach, special education department chair, and, most recently, principal. These diverse experiences gave her valuable insights into students’ needs and the educational landscape.

Throughout her career, Ms. Barnes has recognized two essential truths: first, students require a solid academic foundation to succeed academically and socially, and second, a strong spiritual foundation is equally crucial for navigating the challenges of school and life.

She is deeply committed to advocating for her students’ needs, ensuring every child receives the attention and support they deserve.
