ABOUT US
Choosing a educational facility for your child is one of the most important decisions you will ever make. In addition, it can be one of the most difficult decisions you make, as there is such a variety of service models offered to the public, and you never know “whose promises” to believe.
Our goal is to partner with you to provide excellent intentional and meaningful academics for your child, newborn through third grade. We are here to support you and not to replace you in your child’s life.
The majority of our staff has been with us for twenty plus years and are educated and well trained to meet the needs of young children. The high quality care promotes very positive results for the children: they feel loved and safe within the parameters of our facility. As they grow with us, our program develops and enhances their various skills -- social, cognitive, spiritual, physical – with appropriate results: positive self-image, confidence, security, independence, good habits, to name a few. Simultaneously, we provide peace of mind to parents as we lessen their guilt for not being able to be home throughout the day with their young children. In essence, we feel that we are the child’s home away from home, and next to Mom, we are the best.
Choosing Converse Christian School will be the only decision you will ever need to make, as we go from the cradle through fifth grade.
Certifications
We have used the ABEKA curriculum for more than 20 years for all age groups. It has proven to be an outstanding program for young children, teaching them to read and write, among other skills. Our four-year old Kindergarten program more than prepares your child for kindergarten. If your child remains with us through kindergarten or first grade, it is very common for this child to be advanced in public or private school, whichever he/she attends. TEXAS SCHOOL READY CERTIFIED
Texas School Ready is a comprehensive preschool teacher training program combining a research-based, state-adopted curriculum with ongoing professional development and progress monitoring tools. The goal of this program is to help children be better prepared for school.
Texas Rising Star
The Texas Rising Star program is “a voluntary, quality-based child care rating system of child care providers participating in the Texas Workforce Commission’s subsidized child care program.” TRS Certification is available to Licensed Center and Licensed and Registered Child Care Home providers who meet the certification criteria. The TRS Provider certification system offers three levels of certification (Two-Star, Three-Star, and Four-Star) to encourage providers to attain progressively higher certification requirements leading to a Four-Star level.

Director/Lead K-4/K-5 Teacher
Ms. Deedee has served at Converse Christian School and Early Learning Center since 1991. She holds a Child Development Certification (CDA). Ms. Deedee is committed to student success and serves her students and families with passion and love. She loves what she does and we are blessed to have her.
MS. Candi
Lead Toddler Teacher
She is our amazing toddler teacher. Ms. Candi has been with us for a little over 3 years. She is an owner’s dream. She is teachable, coachable, flexible and always has the biggest smile. We found a rare gem when we found her. Here’s to many years of growing together.
MS. Elvia
Co-Director/Private School Teacher
She has been with Converse Christian School & Early Learning Center for over 30 years. She holds a Child Development Certification (CDA). Ms. Elvia is our Co-Director and runs our private school, grades 1st -5th. She is an expert in our Abeka curriculum and has a track record of growing students academically beyond their grade level.
MS. Carmen
Infant Lead Teacher
She has been with Converse Christian School & Early Learning Center since 1993. She holds a Child Development Certification (CDA). We call her our “Infant Expert.” She has created the foundation for almost all of our students that started with us as an infant. If you want your baby to have a strong educational foundation, Ms. Carmen is your teacher!!
Ms. Robin
Lead PK3 Teacher
Ms. Robin’s classroom management, lesson planning and transitions are some of the best I have seen in all my years in education. In the classroom, her lessons are creative, intentional and thought provoking. She encourages her students to try new things creating open minded, well-rounded thinkers. We are so blessed to have her as part of our team.
